Dr. Hasso Kaempfe
Chairman of the Supervisory Board
Dr. Kaempfe was born in Osnabrück on May 5, 1950. After his law and doctoral studies in Marburg (Lahn), he completed the state law examination in Hamburg.
Dr. Kaempfe worked at Tchibo in Hamburg for 16 years, initially as a legal advisor and subsequently for eight years as a member of the executive board. After that, he was the chairman of the executive board of Mast-Jägermeister AG in Wolfenbüttel for ten years.
Dr. Kaempfe has been providing legal advice to proprietors of family-owned companies since 2008.
In addition to these activities, Dr. Kaempfe was an attorney at Hamburg Regional Court and at the Hanseatic Higher Regional Court (until 1997) as well as a lieutenant colonel in the German Army reserves.

Member of the supervisory board of Reemtsma Cigarettenfabriken GmbH in Hamburg, member of the supervisory board of Nord/LB in Hannover, member of the advisory board of Öffentliche Versicherung in Braunschweig, member of the advisory board of Julius Meinl Industrieholding GmbH in Vienna, chairman of the advisory board of Eugen Block Holding GmbH & Co KG in Hamburg, president of the Deutscher Kaffeeverband e.V. – DKV (German Coffee Association), member of the presidential council of the Bundesverband der Filialbetriebe und Selbstbedienungswarenhäuser – BFS (Federal Association of Franchise Operations and Self-Service Department Stores), member of the executive committee of the Bundesverband der Dt. Spirituosenindustrie – BSI (Federal Association of the German Spirits Industry).
In addition to being the chairman of the advisory board of Grünenthal Pharma GmbH & Co KG and Grünenthal GmbH in Aachen, he is also the chairman of the supervisory board of Grünenthal GmbH. Dr. Kaempfe is also chairman of the supervisory board of Block Foods AG in Hamburg, chairman of the advisory board of Dittmar GmbH & Co KG in Braunschweig (fashion), deputy chairman of the supervisory board of Falke KGaA in Schmallenberg (fashion), member of the advisory board of Heinrich Schulze Beteiligungs GmbH in Braunschweig (food), member of the advisory board of Kerkhoff Consulting GmbH in Düsseldorf, member of the advisory board of Münchmeyer Corporate Finance GmbH in Hamburg, senior advisor of EQT Partners AB in Stockholm as well as member of the executive board of the Markenverband (Brands Association).
